Included on every plan
Loyalty programs are supposed to bring clients back. Most end up eroding your margin instead — generic points systems let clients redeem against your most profitable services. Bronzly Gold is built on a dual-currency model that rewards repeat clients while keeping your unit economics intact.
Bronzly Gold is a native loyalty program that gives every client two earning currencies simultaneously on every booking. The two currencies serve different client motivations, redeem on different things, and protect different parts of your business.
Earned at a rate of $1 per $20 spent (default; configurable). Redeems against future appointments, capped at a percentage of the appointment total. Designed for the cash-sensitive client — protects your margin floor while giving meaningful savings.
Earned at a rate of 5 credits per appointment (default; configurable). Redeems for premium upgrades — darker depth, mitt prep service, aftercare lotion sample, priority booking slot. Low marginal cost to the studio, high perceived value to the client.
The fundamental problem with generic loyalty points is that they collapse two different client motivations into one redemption pool. The client who wants cash savings and the client who wants the premium experience are not the same client — and treating them the same hurts you.
Generic single-currency loyalty
Client earns 100 points. Redeems them for a free $40 maintenance tan. You delivered a full appointment, consumed solution, used your hours, and collected zero revenue. The redemption hit your margin directly.
Bronzly Gold dual currency
Same client earns $20 redeemable plus 30 upgrade credits across the same number of bookings. On their next appointment, they apply $20 off (capped at 30% of the appointment total, so they still pay you something) and redeem 25 credits for a darker depth upgrade. You collect ~70% of the appointment revenue and deliver a small upgrade at low marginal cost. The client feels rewarded twice. You retain your margin floor.

Announce to existing clients (template provided)
Bronzly seeds every active client with a starter balance and sends a launch announcement using your studio name. Most studios see 40%+ of clients open the client app within seven days of launch.
Loyalty mechanics measurably increase repeat-visit frequency in service businesses. Bronzly Gold's dual structure means clients have two reasons to come back instead of one.
The 30% dollar-redemption cap and upgrade-credit channel prevent the loyalty program from cannibalizing your highest-margin work. You reward without bleeding.
Bronzly Gold is a native loyalty program built into every Bronzly plan. Clients earn two currencies simultaneously on every booking: redeemable dollars (cash off future appointments) and upgrade credits (used for service upgrades like darker depth, mitt prep, or aftercare lotion). Two earning tracks, two redemption tracks, no third-party app required.
Generic points programs let clients redeem against your highest-margin services, eroding profitability. Dual currency separates the two motivations: clients who want cash savings redeem dollars (capped at a percentage of the appointment total). Clients who want premium experience redeem credits for upgrades you already produce at low marginal cost. The studio retains margin while the client feels rewarded.
GlossGenius does not include a built-in loyalty program — third-party integrations are required. Vagaro offers a generic single-currency points system through its higher-tier plans, which protects nothing against margin erosion. Bronzly Gold is native, dual-currency, and included from Solo ($19/month). No add-on cost.
Inside the Bronzly native client app, clients see both balances on the home screen. They receive a push notification when a balance unlocks a redemption threshold (example: $20 in redeemable dollars, or 100 credits for a free upgrade). Balances also appear on the booking page at checkout, with one-tap apply.
Yes. Each studio sets the earning rate per dollar spent (default: $1 redeemable per $20 spent, plus 5 credits per appointment). Tier multipliers are configurable — VIP clients can earn at 1.5x or 2x rates. Anniversary-based bonuses also configurable. Defaults are tuned for typical spray tan unit economics; most studios run on defaults for the first 90 days.
